So sad to see Knocker has left us. He was our marketing man at M&G Records between 91-95, to this day I’ve never met anyone like him and I think of him often. The wildest, funniest most irreverent fella in the whole music industry but such a big hearted man underneath. I loved being with him. I’ll never forget when we first signed and he called our house at 9.30am, thinking he was talking to me it was ‘Scouse c*nt this & Scouse c*nt that’, my dad said Ian’s in bed, this is his father, to which Knocker replied, well you’re a Scouse c*nt too!’ 🤣 Farewell John, you were one in a million. ❤️
